Ensemble Judge: Brittany Lasch
Trombonist and educator. A winner of the S&R Foundation Washington Award and Astral Artists National Auditions, Brittany Lasch balances an intensive performance career with her role as Assistant Professor of Trombone at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. For six seasons she was Principal Trombone of the Detroit Opera Orchestra; she has appeared with orchestras nationwide and at the International Trombone Festival, the International Women's Brass Conference, and the American Trombone Workshop. Her debut solo album Dark Horse (2024) received a Silver Medal from Global Music Awards. She is an Edwards Trombone Performing Artist.
